A young orphan girl named Sophie befriends a giant named BFG and discovers that despite his intimidating appearance, he is very endearing. As the story progresses, two larger giants, Bloodbottler and Fleshlumpeater, harbor sinister plans, prompting Sophie and BFG to journey to London to warn the Queen about their evil schemes.
